Hurricane Harvey Member Assistance Fund
The Hurricane Harvey Member Assistance Fund is established to provide financial assistance to Alpha Chi Omega collegiate and alumnae members affected by Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath. The fund will accept tax-deductible donations that will be paid out 100% to affected members and chapters.
Applications will be accepted via our member assistance grant process and will be processed by the volunteer member assistance grant committee as funds are available. Please note that our timeline for grant processing is dependent on receipt of donations - and will likely take 7-10 days - so we cannot commit to helping with immediate needs.
Funds may not be used to pay for sorority dues and fees, but may be used to help with emergency expenses related to impact of the hurricane, or for short-term needs related to the disaster, such as housing, repairs, replacement of household items and clothing, meals while in temporary housing, etc.
